NY Man Sentenced, Part of ID theft Ring

According to the Associated Press, Yomi Jagunna a Queens, New York man was sentenced to almost 12 years in a federal prison and ordered to pay restitution of approximately $3.2 million.
SSN's on Sale
44-year-old Jagunna plead guilt to one count of conspiracy to commit ID theft. Jaganna was supplying an identity theft ring with Social Security numbers which he sold for $30 apiece.
It appears likely that the SSN’s sold to the identity theft ring also included the victims name. The identity thieves used the information obtained from Jagunna to make withdrawals from the victims bank accounts.
